over there
Well, wish me luck, my faithful minions. I am not long for these shores. This time tomorrow I'll be on my merry way to Las Vegas with Alice, a friend and former classmate of mine, who's graciously offered me a ride to Las Vegas. We'll raise some hell, shoot some dice, drink a few, and then come the dawn I'll hit the skies for England, the pubs, some dear friends, and the World Cup on the telly. There may also be a few castles, train rides, world-class museums, and whiskey bottles thrown in somewhere. You'll hear all about when I get back. See you on the 24th....

LONDON!
how exciting! we are both wanderers now in the true sense, not just in our imaginations or dreams. haha in reality though its often not quite as romantic as that, huh?
and i am watching the world cup as i type this, in a breezy taverna with an icy beer and the sun setting over the pelion mountains.
best wishes and may many adventures befall you, my friend. but not too many, haha
I still have dreams of having one pint at every pub in England. Fortunately, I'm already lying down at the time.
24th? Geez, that's still a long time away. Dude, welcome home, you have an award over at my blog waitin' for ya! That Rebel, Olivia
Have fun in Vegas and safe travels!
Claire: I did have a pint (or three) for you! Did I tell you my Canadian buddy Jeff (whom I traveled with during this trip) has actually been to Barbados? I'll have to ask him where he was...
DH: Thanks! I had some awesome pictures of the flight line to put up there, but they didn't work out. I took 'em with my phone, and the color and resolution were terrible. So this will have to do for now. It's actually another of my own photos. Get some good sunsets where I live.
Emily: I sure did! Thanks.
Caroline: It was a blast...I gotta get back as soon as possible.
Olivia: Awww, I was be missed? Thanks a million, friend. Good to be back.
Mashlip: It was a tragedy, lady! My plane was delayed. All I got to see was Trafalgar Square before I got to hurry off to Newcastle. Spent a nice night at the Castle pun in Holland Park though, right before I left...
Jane: Funny that we were both in Europe at the same time, wasn't it? Nice to be in a place where the World Cup is actually important. Hope you're having a blast in Athens and abroad, lady.
Murr: Well, you better get on that. I'm about fifteen pubs ahead of you.
JennyMac: I won $90!
